Cafeteria Cleaning And Equipment Supplies

Background

The Orleans Parish School Board (OPSB) is seeking to partner with a reputable and qualified company to provide Cafeteria Cleaning and Equipment Supplies for twelve (12) NOLA Public Schools. The OPSB oversees 71 charter schools and is committed to ensuring every student receives a high-quality education. The goal of this contract is to maintain cleanliness and hygiene in school cafeterias, which is essential for the health and safety of students.

Work Details

The contractor will provide various cleaning supplies and equipment as specified in the Invitation to Bid (ITB) No. 27-CN-0005. The items include: 1. Hairnet, Black - Disposable nylon mesh head covering. 2. GeneralClean™ X80 Multi-Task Cleaning Cloth - 18" x 3000' long roll with safety cutter guard. 3. Bleach - Clorox Brite, 6/1 gallon. 4. Heavy Duty Cleanser with Bleach - Ajax, 21 oz., pack of 24. 5. Mop - Rubbermaid Web Foot Microfiber String Mop. 6. Clamp-Style Wet Mop Handle - Abco or Rubbermaid. 7. Dual Mop Bucket with Ringer Combo. 8. Stainless Steel Polish - Hi Tech EJ-841, pack of 12/20oz cans. 9. Wall Thermometer - Taylor, weather resistant design. 10. Roll Paper Towel - Cascades, Natural, pack of 12. 11. Yellow Latex Flock Lined Gloves (Medium & Large). 12. Sheet Pans, Counter Stainless Steel Anti-Jam pans in various sizes. 13. Chef Knives and Utility Knives from Winco or approved brands. 14. Various cleaning brushes, buckets, and other kitchen supplies as detailed in the bid specifications.

Period of Performance

The contract will commence upon award and will be for a period of one year with an option to renew for two additional one-year periods.

Place of Performance

The services will be performed at twelve NOLA Public Schools located within Orleans Parish.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must comply with all applicable federal, state, local laws, and regulations including licensing requirements for the products offered. Additionally, bidders must submit a certification statement confirming they are not debarred or suspended by any federal agency.
