Background

The Orleans Parish School Board (OPSB) is issuing this Invitation to Bid (ITB) No. 27-CN-0003 to procure fresh, processed, and pre-cut produce for twelve NOLA Public Schools. The contractor will provide the following fresh, processed, and pre-cut produce: 1. Bananas - 35-40# case, 330 cases required. 2. Oranges - 125-138 per case, 390 cases required. 3. Golden Delicious Apples - 125 count per box, 375 boxes required. 4. Gala Apples - 100 count per box, 375 boxes required. 5. Strawberries - 8/1 pints, 375 flat cases required. 6. Grapes (Red) - 18# lug, 390 lugs required. 7. Grapes (Green) - 18# lug, 390 lugs required. 8. Cantaloupes - 15/18 count, 240 cases required. 9. Shredded Lettuce - 4/5# bags/case, 150 cases required. 10. Salad Mix with Carrots and Red Cabbage - 4/5# bags/case, 275 cases required. 11. Spring Salad Mix - 4/3# bags/case, 100 cases required. 12. Cucumbers - 1/5#, 300 bags required. 13. Broccoli Florets - 3#/bag, 220 bags required. 14. Cauliflower Florets - 2/3#/bag, 100 bags required. 15. Leaf Spinach (Fresh) - vacuum sealed with a minimum shelf life of ten days; quantities vary as specified in the ITB.

Period of Performance

The contract period is from July 1, 2026 to December 31, 2026.

Place of Performance

Deliveries will be made to the NOLA Public Schools located at various sites within Orleans Parish.

Bidder Requirements
