Background The Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) is issuing a sole-source task order for Credit Report Services due to immediate technical and administrative barriers. The goal of this contract is to ensure continuous vetting through single bureau credit checks, which are critical for meeting trusted workforce requirements and addressing potential financial risks. Verato, Inc. is the only contractor with the necessary established system-to-system connection to DCSA’s legacy systems, making them the sole eligible vendor for this task order. Work Details The contractor will provide continuous vetting services, which include conducting approximately single bureau credit checks on a weekly basis. The inability to perform these checks poses a significant risk in meeting workforce trust requirements and could delay the resolution of financial risks. The contractor must have an established connection (e.g., BI Connect Direct Batch File) to DCSA’s legacy systems, including PIPS, as specified in the Performance Work Statement (PWS) Section 2.5. Verato, Inc. possesses this operational connection, while other vendors would require extensive onboarding and testing that could lead to unacceptable delays in personnel onboarding and access grants. Period of Performance The contract is limited to a six-month duration as a short-term solution to avoid a backlog in vetting processes and ensure mission success. Place of Performance The contract will be performed at locations associated with DCSA's operations.
