Background The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking to acquire Guldmann Ceiling Lift Systems for the Harry S. Truman Memorial Veteran’s Hospital, Women’s Clinic, in Columbia, MO. The goal of this contract is to provide safe and efficient patient handling, reduce staff injuries, and improve overall patient care. This Sources Sought announcement is intended for market research to identify potential qualified businesses capable of fulfilling this requirement. Work Details The contract involves the provision of two (2) Guldmann Ceiling Lift Systems (Brand Name Only) with the following specifications: - Safe Working Load (SWL): 825 lbs - Integrated patient scale - Hanger bar - One (1) sling per lift - Non-recessed continuously charging track system with a 3x4 configuration and dimensions of 10x13ft or smaller. - All required hardware, track systems, and mounting components included. Deliverables include: 1. CLIN 0001 – Guldmann Ceiling Lift System (Brand Name Only) - Quantity: 2 EA - Warranty: Hoists (3 years), Rails (25 years), Slings (3 years) 2. CLIN 0002 – Installation – White Glove - Quantity: 2 JB - Installation in Rooms A122 and A126 over two consecutive days. - Includes functional and load testing, verification of charging system and scale calibration. 3. CLIN 0003 – Training - Quantity: 1 JB - On-site training for VA staff on safe use, weighing function, and basic maintenance. Period of Performance Delivery is expected within 30 days after Receipt of Offer (ARO), with installation occurring no later than 14 days after delivery. Place of Performance Harry S.
