Work Details

The contractor will be responsible for furnishing all materials, tools, equipment, labor, and other incidental work necessary for the following tasks: 1. Excavation of sand from the East Beach and Basin borrow areas. 2. Placement of beach fill on the eroded beach on the west side of Kikiaola Small Boat Harbor. 3. Implementation of Best Management Practices (BMPs) for environmental protection during construction activities. 4. Conducting water quality monitoring throughout the project duration. 5. Compliance with all relevant specifications, plans, permitting documents, and addenda related to this solicitation.

Period of Performance

The contract work is expected to commence upon award and must be completed by May 2026.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must possess a valid State Contractor's license classified as 'A'. Additionally, they are required to provide proof of compliance with HRS 103D-310(c) through Hawaii Compliance Express (HCE), which includes obtaining tax clearance certificates from the Hawaii State Department of Taxation and IRS, a certificate of compliance from the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations (DLIR), and a certificate of good standing from the Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs (DCCA).
