Background

Coastal Carolina University (CCU) is a dynamic, student-centered public institution committed to delivering high-quality, affordable education. CCU offers 105 degree and certificate programs across five academic colleges and is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC). The university aims to enhance its educational offerings through the acquisition of a new Learning Management System (LMS) that will support academic instruction, workforce development, and online learning. The selected LMS must align with CCU's strategic goals as outlined in the CCU Reach Strategic Plan.

Work Details

The contractor will provide a cloud-based Learning Management System (LMS) designed to replace the existing open-source platform, Moodle. The solution will be Software as a Service (SaaS) with high availability, security, and regulatory compliance. Services include: - Provisioning, hosting, and maintenance of the LMS - Configuration and implementation services - Integration with institutional systems - Migration of course content from the incumbent LMS - Training and change management services - Ongoing support and system enhancements. The LMS must support core capabilities such as course creation, delivery, and management.

Period of Performance

The estimated contract period is from July 15, 2026 to July 14, 2033, consisting of an initial one-year term with six additional one-year options.

Place of Performance

The services will be performed at Coastal Carolina University located in Conway, South Carolina.
