Background

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is seeking bids for Temporary Staffing Services at the Brooksville Operations Center. The goal of this contract is to provide skilled workers for preventive and corrective maintenance across the facilities and grounds, ensuring functionality, safety, and appearance.

Work Details

The Vendor will provide temporary staffing services including: - HVAC maintenance (filter replacement, cleaning coils, inspecting systems) - Minor carpentry (repairing interior components) - Minor plumbing (fixing leaks, clearing clogs) - Minor electrical work (replacing lamps and testing breakers) - Landscaping and grounds maintenance (mowing, pruning, debris removal) - Common area maintenance (cleaning entrances and pest control) - A preventive maintenance program with monthly reporting on activities and system performance.

Period of Performance

The contract will commence on July 1, 2026, and conclude on June 30, 2027.

Place of Performance

Services will be performed at the Brooksville Operations Center located at 16411 Spring Hill Drive, Brooksville, Florida.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must be registered in the State of Florida’s MyFloridaMarketplace system. Out-of-state corporations must be authorized to do business in Florida. Bidders must have a minimum of three years of experience in relevant services and comply with licensing requirements if applicable. Additionally, bidders must submit certifications regarding scrutinized companies lists and use the E-Verify system for employee verification.
