Background This project is initiated by the U.S. Government for the renovation of a Night Vision Goggle (NVG) Storage Facility at the 411 SQDN Headquarter Building located at Wing 41, Royal Thai Air Force (RTAF), Chiang Mai, Thailand. The goal of this design-build contract is to enhance security and operational capabilities by upgrading an existing room into a secure storage facility that meets safety and security requirements. Work Details The scope of work includes: - Modification of the existing P.E. room to provide a fully enclosed and secure environment. - Extension of walls to the underside of the slab. - Installation of a protective steel cage within the ceiling space. - Installation of a CCTV system from the entrance to the storage room with cameras positioned to capture personnel entry and safe access. - Installation of a fire detection and alarm system. - Installation of two air conditioning units with alternating operation and a dehumidifier for environmental control. - Installation of a complete electrical system including emergency lighting and provision for backup power systems. - Installation of secure storage equipment including a safe for NVG storage and a steel cabinet for firearms and ammunition. - Installation of supporting systems such as utilities, communications, and integration systems. Work will be performed in an active military installation, requiring coordination with host nation stakeholders and adherence to applicable U.S. and Host Nation standards.
