The University of Louisiana at Lafayette is seeking bids for the procurement of a Hematology Analyzer, specifically the Beckman Coulter DxH 690T or an equivalent model. Work Details

The contract includes the supply, delivery, installation, and staff training for a Hematology Analyzer. The vendor must ensure that all costs associated with equipment delivery and setup are covered. The analyzer must be fully automated, mid-volume, and capable of providing reliable CBC and differential results with minimal manual intervention. Key specifications include: 1. Automation: Fully automated benchtop hematology analyzer. 2. Cell Characterization: Advanced technologies for analyzing cells in a near-native state. 3. Analytical Methodology: Enhanced Coulter Digital Impedance and VCS 360 technology. 4. Test Menu: Must include CBC parameters such as WBC, RBC, HGB, HCT, MCV, MCH, MCHC, RDW, PLT; 5-part differential; early sepsis indicator; reticulocyte counts; and body fluid analysis. 5. Performance Requirements: ≥93% first-pass yield with low-confidence flags generation. 6. Sample Handling: Whole blood and body fluids with specific aspiration volumes. 7. Workflow: Extended walkaway operation with a minimum 100-tube load capacity. 8. Maintenance: Zero daily touchpoints with autonomous cleaning cycles. 9. Warranty: Minimum one-year full system warranty covering parts, labor, and travel.

Period of Performance

The contract duration will commence from the date specified in the award notification and will continue until the university accepts final delivery of all deliverables, not exceeding twelve (12) months.

Place of Performance

The services will be performed at the New Iberia Research Center located at 4401 W. Admiral Doyle Drive, New Iberia, Louisiana 70560.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must comply with specific insurance requirements including: 1. Workers Compensation compliance as per Louisiana law. 2. Commercial General Liability insurance with minimum limits of $1 million per occurrence and $2 million aggregate. 3. Automobile Liability insurance if applicable. 4. Bidders must submit a certificate of insurance evidencing required coverages naming the University as an additional insured.
