Background

The Village of Schaumburg, IL, is the largest center of economic development in Illinois outside Chicago, with a significant retail, office, and industrial presence. The Village aims to procure Fortinet hardware for its Information Technology Department for the fiscal year 2026/2027 through this Invitation for Bid (IFB).

FS-2048F - Layer 2/3 FortiGate switch controller compatible switch with 48x25G(SFP28), 8x100G(QSFP28), and 2x10G(SFP+) - Quantity: 3 3. FC-10-S2F48-247-02-12 - FortiCare Premium Support - Quantity: 3 4. FS-648F-FPOE - Layer 2/3 FortiGate switch controller compatible PoE switch with various ports - Quantity: 14 5. FC-10-648FF-247-02-12 - 1 Year FortiCare Premium Support - Quantity: 14 6. FN-TRAN-SFP28-LR - transceiver module, long range - Quantity: 32 7. FN-CABLE-SFP28 - passive direct attach cable, 5m - Quantity: 6 8. FN-CABLE-QSFP28 - passive direct attach cable, 5m - Quantity: 4. All items must be new and not refurbished or remanufactured, with proof of authorization as an Authorized Reseller required.

Period of Performance

The contract will be performed during the Village's fiscal year 2026/2027.

Place of Performance

Delivery is expected at the Temporary Village Hall located at 1000 E Woodfield Road, Schaumburg, IL 60173.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must be authorized resellers of the specified Fortinet hardware and provide proof of such authorization with their bid. Additionally, bidders must meet insurance requirements including General Liability coverage naming the Village as additional insured, Automobile Liability insurance, Umbrella or Excess Liability coverage, and Workers’ Compensation as required by Illinois law.
