2026 Ruckus

Background

The Village of Schaumburg, IL, the largest center of economic development outside Chicago, is soliciting bids for the 2026 Ruckus Bid (2026-IFB-029). The village aims to enhance its technological infrastructure by procuring new Ruckus hardware during the fiscal year 2026/2027. This initiative supports Schaumburg's mission to maintain its status as a prime location for business and economic growth.

Work Details

The contract involves the purchase of Ruckus hardware, specifically: 1. **Ruckus R670** (52 units) - Wi-Fi 7 tri-band indoor access point with features including BeamFlex+, Ethernet ports, and PoE support. 2. **Ruckus T670** (5 units) - Wi-Fi 7 tri-band outdoor access point with similar specifications as the R670. 3. **Ruckus T750** (8 units) - Wi-Fi 6 outdoor access point supporting up to 1,024 clients. 4. **AP Management License** (65 licenses) for SZ-100/vSCG3.X. 5. **End User WatchDog Support** (65 licenses) for SZ/(v)SCG AP, covering a period of 5 years. All items must be new and authorized resellers must provide proof of authorization.

Period of Performance

The contract will be performed during the Village's fiscal year 2026/2027, with specific delivery dates to be coordinated with the Village’s Information Technology Department.

Place of Performance

Delivery will occur at the Police Department - Martin J Conroy Center, located at 1000 W. Schaumburg Rd., Schaumburg, IL 60194.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must be authorized resellers for Ruckus products and provide proof of authorization with their bid submission. Additionally, bidders are required to meet specific insurance requirements including general liability coverage naming the Village as additional insured, automobile liability insurance, workers’ compensation as per state law, and compliance with various local and state regulations.
