Provide Court Reporting Services on an as Needed Basis

Background

The Parish of Jefferson is soliciting a Statement of Qualifications (SOQ No. 26-013) for court reporting services on an as-needed basis. This contract aims to support various departments, boards, and commissions within the Parish, enhancing their operational efficiency by providing professional court reporting services.

Work Details

The selected firm or individual will provide court reporting services as needed for the Parish of Jefferson. The qualifications required include having at least one principal with a minimum of five years of experience in court reporting. The evaluation criteria for submissions will include: A. Professional qualifications, training, and experience (25 points); B. Fee proposal including appearance fees and costs for certified transcripts (25 points); C. Size of the firm and capacity for timely completion (20 points); D. Previous court reporting services performed for Jefferson Parish (15 points); E. Services performed for other public entities (10 points); F. Location of the office where work will be performed, with preference given to firms located in Jefferson Parish or neighboring parishes.

Period of Performance

The contract will be effective upon approval and will continue on an as-needed basis until terminated or replaced by another contract.

Place of Performance

Services will be performed within Jefferson Parish and potentially surrounding areas depending on the needs of the departments requesting services.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must submit a Statement of Qualifications using the General Professional Services Questionnaire format. Each sub-consultant must also submit this questionnaire. Registration on the e-Procurement site is required to submit proposals electronically.
