Background

The Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) is issuing this Invitation to Bid (ITB) for the Ontario D14 Office Building HVAC Equipment Replacement Project. The goal of this contract is to replace existing HVAC equipment at the Ontario D14 Office, ensuring efficient climate control for the facility. Work Details

The contractor will be responsible for replacing existing Trane HVAC equipment, which includes: - (2) 7.5 ton air handlers - (4) gas furnaces - (2) duct furnaces - (6) outdoor units Additionally, the project involves replacing thermostats and upgrading condensate lines and flue pipes to PVC. Period of Performance

The project is expected to commence upon issuance of the Notice to Proceed, with substantial completion required by October 30, 2026, and final completion by November 9, 2026.

Place of Performance

The work will take place at the Ontario District 14 Office located at 1390 SE First Ave, Ontario, OR 97914.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must provide a business location that includes sales and service within a 2-hour radius of the Ontario D14 Office for timely warranty service and maintenance. Bidders must also be licensed with the State Construction Contractors Board prior to bidding on public improvement contracts. Additionally, all subcontractors must be similarly licensed before commencing work under the contract.
