Background The Marine Corps Recruit Depot-Parris Island, SC (MCRDPI) intends to award a Firm Fixed Price contract to fulfill the requirement for Musical Services in support of MCRDPI Catholic Services. The contract aims to provide a musician for weekly Sunday Catholic Mass for both recruits and permanent personnel, as well as support for non-recurring special services throughout the performance period. Work Details The contractor will be responsible for performing at weekly Catholic services: - For recruits: Sundays from 8:00 AM to 9:45 AM (Eastern Standard Time). - For permanent personnel: Sundays from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM (Eastern Standard Time). Additionally, the contractor must provide up to twenty (20) weekday services for major feasts and holy days, scheduled from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM (Eastern Standard Time), with at least two weeks' advance notice. The contract also includes up to five (5) special services for both recruits and permanent personnel. The contractor is required to manage its employees without supervision from the government and ensure that all personnel are qualified musicians with at least one year of practical experience in traditional and contemporary Catholic worship music. An audition will be conducted for interested contractors to demonstrate proficiency in organ/keyboard/piano and musical performance. The contractor must also ensure that any subcontracted musicians are vetted and approved by the Command Chaplain or representative.
