DGS-Bel Air DC/MSC EV Installation Project

Background

The Maryland Department of General Services (DGS) is issuing a solicitation for the installation of electric vehicle charging stations as part of its commitment to enhancing infrastructure for electric vehicles. The project aims to install 13 units of 32-Amp Non-Network Electric Vehicle Charging Stations at the DGS-Bel Air DC/MSC facility, aligning with state initiatives to promote sustainable transportation solutions.

Work Details

The contractor will be responsible for the following tasks: 1. Installation of 13 units of 32-Amp Non-Network Electric Vehicle Charging Stations. 2. Ensuring compliance with all applicable codes and regulations during installation. 3. Providing all necessary materials, labor, and equipment required for the installation process. 4. Conducting testing and commissioning of the charging stations to ensure they are operational upon completion.

Period of Performance

The contract is expected to commence upon issuance of a Notice to Proceed and shall be completed within a specified timeframe as outlined in the solicitation documents.

Place of Performance

The work will be performed at the DGS-Bel Air DC/MSC facility located in Bel Air, Maryland.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must comply with specific requirements including: 1. Submission of a price for each line item on the bid form without comments. 2. Provision of a bid bond if the total bid amount exceeds $200,000, which must be at least five percent (5%) of the total bid amount. 3. Completion and submission of Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) documents as required by the solicitation.
