City of Arabi Sewer System Improvements

Background

The City of Arabi, Georgia is seeking bids for the construction of sewer system improvements as part of their wastewater collection system project. The goal of this contract is to enhance the existing infrastructure to improve wastewater management in the area.

Work Details

The project includes the following work: - Installation of approximately 32,900 linear feet (lf) of 2-inch HDPE force main with associated fittings and appurtenances; - Installation of approximately 2,900 lf of 3-inch HDPE force main with associated fittings and appurtenances; - Installation of approximately 7,900 lf of 4-inch HDPE force main with associated fittings and appurtenances; - Installation of approximately 110 owner-supplied septic tanks with an associated pump station, electrical, and service lines; - Abandonment of approximately 100 existing septic tanks; - One pipeline crossing of a state highway; - One pipeline crossing of a railroad.

Period of Performance

The contract work is expected to be performed until June 16, 2026.

Place of Performance

The construction will take place in Arabi, Crisp County, Georgia.

Bidder Requirements

A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held on June 3, 2026. Bids will not be accepted from bidders who do not attend this conference.
