Background

Work Details

The work under this contract includes the construction of approximately 1.69 miles of asphalt resurfacing. This encompasses: - ± 1633 tons of 9.5mm Superpave asphalt - ± 841 tons of OGI leveling material - ± 3.38 linear meters (LM) of high build striping on New School Road. Additionally, all necessary appurtenances required for a complete job must be included.

Period of Performance

All work on the project must be completed within 180 consecutive calendar days from the date of notice to proceed.

Bidder Requirements

Bids must be submitted on Bid Proposal Forms provided for that purpose and must include a Bidder's Bond payable to Pierce County for 10 percent of the bid amount. Bidders are required to enter into a written contract and furnish a Payment Bond, Performance Bond, and Insurance Certificates upon acceptance of their bid.
