Background

The City of Kenner, Louisiana, is seeking bids for the refurbishment, furnishing, and installation of one (1) 2.0M Klampress Belt Filter Press. This project aims to enhance the wastewater treatment capabilities of the city, aligning with its mission to provide efficient and effective public services.

Work Details

The contractor will be responsible for refurbishing, furnishing, and installing one (1) 2.0M Klampress Belt Filter Press. All work must comply with local, state, federal, and manufacturer’s codes and guidelines. The total agreement amount will not exceed $300,000.00. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, tools, appliances, and facilities necessary for the completion of the project in a workmanlike manner.

Period of Performance

The contract will commence upon the signature of both parties and will terminate upon the completion of the project.

Place of Performance

The work will be performed at the City of Kenner's wastewater treatment facility located at 1610 Reverend Richard Wilson Drive, Kenner, Louisiana 70062.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must possess a valid Louisiana contractor's license prior to submitting a bid. A bid bond in the amount of 5% of the contract price is required if bids are $250,000 or more. Performance and payment bonds are required for contracts exceeding $25,000. Additionally, bidders must complete affidavits regarding employment verification and non-collusion prior to contract execution.
