Background The 23rd Special Tactics Squadron (STS) is seeking a certified contractor to install a surround sound system at the Human Performance Training Center (HPTC) located next to Building #91650 at Hurlburt Field, FL. The goal of this contract is to ensure that the surround sound system is fully operational in the new facility, enhancing the training environment for personnel. Work Details The contractor shall provide all necessary supervision, labor, travel, materials, tools, equipment, accessories, and other items required for the installation of the surround sound system. Key tasks include: 1. Purchasing and installing equipment as specified in the SOW. 2. Mounting and securing eight loudspeakers and three subwoofers at designated locations. 3. Installing two amplifiers in a wall mount rack and a digital sound processor (DSP). 4. Installing a Bluetooth wall plate at an approved location and providing all required audio signal cabling between components. 5. Configuring the DSP for system routing and testing all components for proper operation. 6. Providing one year of warranty maintenance on all new equipment installed. Period of Performance The contract will be performed starting from March 25, 2026, with an expected duration that includes installation and one year of warranty maintenance.
