The Butte-Silver Bow Parks and Recreation Department is seeking Price Quotations from qualified Contractors for the Harrison Avenue Tree Project, located along Harrison Avenue within the City-County of Butte-Silver Bow, Montana. The goal of this project is to enhance the urban landscape by planting new street trees and improving existing vegetation.

Work Details

Contractors are required to provide all labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary to complete the following tasks: 1. Planting of new street trees in approved locations. 2. Removal of designated existing vegetation. 3. Concrete sidewalk cut-out measuring 10’x4’ to install new tree wells, including the removal of existing dead or dying trees/shrubs. 4. Excavation of poor-quality soil to a depth of at least 2.5’, followed by the application of a new topsoil/compost mix to ensure long-term vitality of the trees. 5. Disposal of removed concrete and debris. 6. Soil excavation, preparation, and backfilling as needed. 7. Restoration of surrounding surfaces and site conditions post-installation. 8. Inspection, repair, and/or modification of irrigation lines, heads, or laterals that may be impacted by the new tree plantings.
