Background
Atlantic Cape Community College (the College) is soliciting proposals for independent auditing services to conduct an annual comprehensive audit of its financial statements. The goal of this contract is to ensure compliance with applicable federal and State of New Jersey laws and regulations, including auditing standards. The selected firm will perform the audit of the College’s Annual Comprehensive Financial Report and conduct agreed-upon procedures related to the College’s Enrollment Report.
Work Details
The selected firm will provide the following services: - Conduct an annual audit of the College's Annual Comprehensive Financial Report, including the Single Audit. - Perform agreed-upon procedures related to the Enrollment Report. - Ensure compliance with New Jersey Council of County Colleges Guidelines, GASB standards, and federal regulations. - Prepare Independent Auditor's reports on financial statements, internal control over financial reporting, and compliance for each major program. - Submit all reports in sufficient detail within required timeframes. - Provide a Management Letter with recommendations for improvements in internal controls. - Submit final audit reports directly to governmental agencies. The required reports include: - Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (including Introductory Section, Financial Section, Statistical Section) - Enrollment Report (including Independent Accountant’s Report on Applying Agreed Upon Procedures) - Other necessary exhibits or letters.
Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a two-year period, covering fiscal years ending June 30, 2026, and June 30, 2027.
Place of Performance
The services will be performed at Atlantic Cape Community College located at 5100 Black Horse Pike, Mays Landing, New Jersey.
Bidder Requirements
