Background The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is issuing this solicitation to provide a new bulk oxygen system and establish a committed source of supply of medical-grade liquid bulk oxygen for the VA Maryland Health Care System (VAMHCS) Baltimore campus. The goal is to ensure that the VAMHCS has a reliable and compliant bulk oxygen supply system, which includes installation, maintenance, and service of the equipment. Work Details The contractor will provide a contractor-owned bulk oxygen system with an appropriate back-up system. The contract includes: 1. Medical Grade Bulk Oxygen - Estimated quantity: 163,777 CCF annually. 2. Telemetry services - 12 months. 3. Tank Rental - Monthly rental for the duration of the contract. 4. Installation of Tank - One-time installation service. All services must comply with NFPA 55, NFPA 99, and The Joint Commission requirements. The contractor is responsible for delivery, installation, testing, and certification of the equipment as per the attached drawings and specifications.
