Overhead Door Systems & Security Gate Systems, Installation, Maintenance, Repair And Replacement On Call Services

Background

The City of Annapolis, Maryland, is seeking bids for on-call services related to overhead door systems and security gate systems. The goal of this contract is to ensure the installation, maintenance, repair, and replacement of these systems to support the city's operational needs. The City does not guarantee any specific volume of work under this contract.

Work Details

The contractor will provide all labor, materials, tools, and equipment necessary to: 1. Install, remove, repair, replace, and diagnose various types of overhead doors including sectional panel doors, rolling curtain doors, man doors, sliding fire doors, and rubberized overhead doors. 2. Install, remove, repair, replace and diagnose security gate entry systems including electrically actuated and hydraulically actuated gates. 3. Repair and maintain automatic openers and control circuits. Services include preventative maintenance and inspections as scheduled by the city; on-call repair services for overhead doors; emergency repairs at Fire Stations and Public Safety Buildings with a response time within two hours; maintaining expert knowledge of commercial overhead door systems; providing necessary vehicles and tools; maintaining all required professional licenses; and submitting detailed service reports within five business days of inspection. Preventative maintenance shall be performed annually and include inspection, adjustment, lubrication, minor repairs, and reporting.

Period of Performance

The contract will commence upon award and will last for six years with the possibility of extension for up to twelve additional months at the City's discretion.

Place of Performance

Services will primarily be performed within the City of Annapolis.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must provide evidence of qualifications including financial data and previous experience. They must also maintain all required professional licenses to perform the work outlined in this solicitation.
