Background
Boone County, referred to as 'the County', is seeking to contract with an individual or organization for the provision of a Tilt Deck Trailer. The County's mission includes ensuring the availability of necessary equipment for its operations. This contract aims to fulfill that need by acquiring a trailer that meets specific requirements.
Work Details
The contractor will provide one (1) Tilt Deck Trailer with the following specifications: - Gooseneck hitch with a 2 5/16 adjustable coupler (25,000 lb capacity). - Minimum capacity of 16,000 lbs. - Dimensions: 102" (82" min between fenders) x 20', with a 16' tilt deck and 4' stationary section; loaded deck height of 23-25". - Dual axles with a minimum capacity of 10,000 lbs each, equipped with electric brakes. - Exterior finish in black or another dark color approved by the County. - DOT-compliant LED lighting system including tail, brake, turn, and marker lights. - Equipped with two (2) 10k drop leg landing gear. - Deck flooring made from oak or Apitong wood, minimum thickness of 2 inches. - Tires: 215/75R17.5 LR H on 17.5" - 8-hole wheels. - Front-mounted toolboxes included. - Minimum three-inch forged steel D-rings rated at a working load limit of 5,000 lbs.
Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon award and is expected to be completed within the timeframe specified in the bid response. Delivery terms will be FOB Destination.

Delivery will be made to Boone County Road & Bridge Department located at 5551 S. Tom Bass Road, Columbia, Missouri 65201.
Bidder Requirements
