Background

Delaware State University (the University) is seeking proposals from qualified vendors for Beverage Pouring Rights and Sponsorship. The intent of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to identify vendors capable of providing high-quality products and services that meet the needs and objectives of the University. This RFP is issued under Delaware Code Title 29, Chapter 6924, which allows for competitive proposals when traditional bidding is impractical.

Work Details

The selected vendor(s) will be responsible for providing beverage pouring rights on campus, which includes but is not limited to: - Supplying a variety of beverages for sale at University events and locations. - Providing sponsorship opportunities that may include branding and promotional activities associated with the beverages offered. - Ensuring compliance with all applicable health and safety regulations related to beverage service. - Collaborating with the University to ensure that the beverage offerings align with the institution's values and community standards.

Period of Performance

The contract will be valid for three (3) years, starting from August 1, 2026, with an option to renew for two (2) additional one-year extensions through negotiation.

Place of Performance

The services will be performed at Delaware State University, located in Dover, Delaware.

Bidder Requirements

Vendors must comply with all local, state, and federal laws applicable to the provision of beverage services. Vendors are required to submit a non-collusion statement as part of their proposal. Additionally, vendors must provide proof of insurance coverage as specified in the RFP documents. There are no mandatory pre-bid meetings; however, all questions must be submitted in writing by May 20, 2026.
