Commissioning Services

Background

The Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools (MNPS) is seeking proposals from qualified contractors to provide Commissioning Services on an as-needed basis. The goal of this contract is to ensure that the facilities operated by MNPS are functioning efficiently and effectively, aligning with the agency's mission to provide quality education and a conducive learning environment for students.

Work Details

The contractor will provide commissioning services which may include but are not limited to: verifying that building systems are designed, installed, and function according to the operational requirements of MNPS; ensuring that all systems are tested and verified for performance; providing documentation of commissioning processes; and offering recommendations for improvements. Services will be requested through Purchase Orders on an as-needed basis, with no minimum guarantee of goods or services.

Period of Performance

The contract term will begin on a date specified in the contract and may extend up to sixty (60) months with written amendments executed by all parties involved.

Place of Performance

Services will be performed at various MNPS facilities located within the Metropolitan Nashville area.

Bidder Requirements

Contractors must possess all necessary licenses, permissions, and certifications required to perform commissioning services. Additionally, contractors must adhere to MNPS's insurance requirements, including general liability, automobile liability, professional liability, and workers' compensation insurance. Compliance with criminal background checks for employees who may have contact with students is also mandatory.
