Background The Indian Education Acquisition Office is issuing this solicitation for the purchase of propane to support the operations of Pine Ridge School in Pine Ridge, South Dakota. The goal of this contract is to ensure a reliable supply of propane for heating and cooking needs at the school, which serves the local community. Work Details The contractor will provide 70,000 gallons of liquid propane with a methyl mercaptan blend. Deliveries are to be made bi-weekly during regular school hours (Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM), excluding federal holidays. The contractor must install electronic tank monitoring devices and independently monitor tank levels. The tanks include various capacities: 1,000-gallon tanks located at multiple buildings including the high school and dormitories, and 500-gallon tanks at the cafeteria and log cabin. The contractor is responsible for preventing and cleaning up any spills that occur during their operations, adhering to OSHA guidelines. Invoices must be submitted electronically through the U.S. Department of the Treasury's Internet Payment Platform System (IPP).
