Background The Department of the Interior, Bureau of Land Management (DOI, BLM), Montana State Office, located in Billings, MT, is issuing this combined solicitation/synopsis for a Utility Task Vehicle (UTV) for the Dillon Field Office. The goal of this contract is to procure a UTV that meets specific operational requirements for inventory work related to invasive species management. Work Details The contract involves the delivery of one full-sized UTV with the following specifications: 1. Four-wheeled UTV with a single bench seat (2-seater). 2. 60 inches or wider wheelbase with at least 11 inches of ground clearance. 3. Towing capacity of 2500 pounds or more and payload capacity of 1500 pounds or greater. 4. Multifunction rear cargo box with a minimum carrying capacity of 1000 pounds. 5. Maximum engine size of 1000cc, liquid-cooled, electronic fuel-injected engine. 6. Equipped with a 2-inch receiver hitch and an engine braking system. 7. Power steering and a minimum wheelbase of 83 inches. 8. A certified roll-over protection system (ROPS) that meets specified safety standards. Period of Performance The period of performance for this contract is from June 5, 2026, to July 17, 2026.
