Background The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is issuing this Request for Proposal (RFP) 36C77626R0043 for the EHRM Infrastructure Upgrades at the Tuskegee VA Medical Center (VAMC) located in Tuskegee, AL. The goal of this contract is to enhance the existing infrastructure to support electronic health record management and improve overall facility operations. Work Details The work includes general construction tasks such as infrastructure upgrades, reconfiguring, and renovating existing spaces impacted by these improvements. Specific infrastructure upgrades encompass electrical systems, bonding, uninterruptible power supply (UPS), building management system interfaces, HVAC systems, communication enhancements, physical security upgrades, and campus-wide fiber infrastructure backbone. The project will also involve modifications that may impact roads, walks, grading, drainage, and other existing utilities. Additionally, it includes Data Center WAN updates and hazardous material abatement. The work will be performed in various buildings as indicated in the construction documents and may require removal of existing structures. Period of Performance The contract period will begin with the Notice to Proceed (NTP) and will last for 911 calendar days after NTP.
