Award of Task Order: will result in multiple Performance Based, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) Requirements Contracts as best meets the needs of the Government based on the lowest priced bid that is responsive / responsible.

Tentative Dates

Site(s) Visit/Pre-Bid Conference (if needed): An organized site visit is not scheduled. Bidders are urged and expected to inspect the site where services are to be performed and to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance, to the extent that the information is reasonably obtainable. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award.

Background The Kisatchie National Forest Road Maintenance Services and Construction IDIQ project is issued by the USDA Forest Service, which is responsible for managing national forests and grasslands. The goal of this contract is to provide essential road maintenance and construction services within the Kisatchie National Forest, ensuring safe and accessible roadways for public use and forest management activities. Specific tasks include: clearing and grubbing, excavation and embankment, rock blasting, roadway obliteration, soil erosion control, dust control measures, construction surveys and staking, contractor quality control, mobilization of resources, and adherence to industry standards. The work must comply with the performance work statement (PWS) and relevant specifications outlined in Attachment 003. Period of Performance The contract will be performed over a one-year base period from the date of task order issuance with four one-year option periods that could extend performance through May 14, 2031. Place of Performance The construction projects will be performed at various locations within the Kisatchie National Forest including Pineville (Headquarters/Supervisor’s Office), Boyce (Calcasieu Ranger District), Homer (Caney Ranger District), Bentley (Catahoula Ranger District), Provencal (Kisatchie Ranger District), and Winnfield (Winn Ranger District).
