Background

The City of Conyers is seeking proposals from qualified contractors for the replacement of the metal roof at the Cherokee Run Golf Course Clubhouse, located at 1595 Centennial Olympic Parkway, Conyers, GA 30012. The project aims to ensure a watertight and durable roofing system for this active golf course facility. The City reserves the right to modify provisions and reject any proposals.

Work Details

The contractor will provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and incidentals necessary for the metal roof replacement and associated exterior repairs. Key tasks include: - Removal of existing roofing panels, fasteners, flashing, trim, and accessories. - Inspection and replacement of damaged decking and insulation. - Installation of a high-temperature synthetic underlayment and ice/water shield in critical areas. - Installation of a standing seam metal roofing system with specific requirements for panel type (mechanically seamed or snap-lock), width (12"–18"), seam height (minimum 1.5"), gauge (minimum 24-gauge steel), finish (Kynar 500® / PVDF coating), and color as selected by the City. - Provision of all necessary flashing and trim components. - Replacement of gutters, downspouts, roof vents, dormers siding, and trim as needed. - Compliance with OSHA regulations and provision of a site-specific safety plan.

Period of Performance

The contract work is expected to commence within ten calendar days from receipt of Notice to Proceed and must be completed within six weeks from that date.

The work will be performed at the Cherokee Run Golf Course Clubhouse located at 1595 Centennial Olympic Parkway, Conyers, GA 30012.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must provide evidence of their ability to supply a current Contractor’s Public Liability Insurance Policy with specified coverage limits. A 5% Bid Bond is required upon submission of bids. Additionally, bidders must submit various documents including a Contractor Questionnaire, Evidence of Insurability, Business License, Tax Compliance Form (W-9), and an E-Verify Affidavit.
