Background The Sawtooth National Recreation Area (SNRA) is issuing a contract for the replacement of windows and doors at various administrative sites. The goal of this project is to enhance the functionality and aesthetics of the facilities while ensuring minimal disruption to current occupants. The project will involve replacing existing windows, exterior entry doors, sliding glass patio doors, and overhead garage doors in housing units and a warehouse building, as specified in the provided drawings. Work Details The contractor will be responsible for replacing existing windows with fiberglass-framed units, exterior entry doors with fiberglass models, sliding glass patio doors also made of fiberglass, and overhead garage doors constructed from steel. The work will take place at two locations: the North Fork Administrative site near Ketchum, Idaho, and the Stanley Ranger Station Administrative site south of Stanley, Idaho. The contractor must ensure that construction activities are sequenced to limit exposure of buildings to weather conditions and that operations cause minimal inconvenience to tenants. Adequate safety measures must be implemented during construction operations. Period of Performance The contractor is required to commence work within 14 calendar days after receiving the notice to proceed and must complete all work by September 30, 2026. Place of Performance The construction projects will be performed at two administrative sites: North Fork Administrative site located just north of Ketchum, Idaho, and Stanley Ranger Station Administrative site located just south of Stanley, Idaho.
