Bidding documents and any addendums are available via the following methods: All wages paid for work under this Contract shall comply with requirements of the prevailing wage law of the State of Missouri, Sec 290.210 et seq., R.S. Mo., as amended by the Division of Labor Standards, State of Missouri and regulations promulgated by the Division of Labor. For any contract for services greater than $5,000, the successful bidder shall comply with 285.530, RSMo., as amended, and (1) provide by affidavit affirmation that it does not knowingly employ any person who is an unauthorized alien and (2) provide documentation affirming its enrollment and participation in a federal work authorization program with respect to the employees working in connection with this contract. The required documentation affirming enrollment must be from the federal work authorization program provider. A letter from the respondent reciting compliance is not sufficient. All bids should include the signed and notarized Work Authorization Affidavit and the electronic signature page from the E-Verify program. A letter from the Contractor reciting compliance is not sufficient. Bidder Requirements Bidders must comply with several requirements including: - Must possess a current City of Springfield business license and be registered with the Missouri Secretary of State. - Must provide a bid bond equal to at least five percent (5%) of the total bid price. - Must furnish a Performance Bond and Labor and Materials Payment Bond upon contract award. - Compliance with prevailing wage laws as established by Missouri state law or federal Davis-Bacon Act, whichever is higher. - All on-site employees must complete OSHA's ten-hour construction safety training program. - Bidders are encouraged to submit their qualifications and experience along with their bids.
