Morgan County Government is soliciting sealed bids for a used electric forklift, specifically a 3-wheel set down AC electric model with cushion tires and less than 4000 hours of use. Separate sealed bids will be accepted until May 19, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., at which time they will be opened and read aloud. All bids must include all delivery and handling charges. Morgan County reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Bid quotes must remain effective for 60 days after the bid opening date. The County also reserves the right to contact the successful bidder for one full calendar year from the award date to determine if they are willing to provide the same materials or services at the original bid price. The decision on bids will consider not only price but also the best vehicle and accessories that meet the qualifications. All bidders must meet state certifications upon award of the bid. Bids can be delivered in person to the Morgan County Executive's office located at 415 N Kingston St, Wartburg, TN, on the third floor, or mailed to Morgan County Executive, Attn: Bret Pallotta, P.O. Box 387, Wartburg, TN 37887. All bid envelopes must be marked on the outside as 2025 Morgan County Food Insecurity Grant.
