Operations and Maintenance Services at W. Kerr Scott Reservoir

Background

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Wilmington District, intends to procure comprehensive and efficient maintenance, repair, and minor rehabilitation services for the W. Kerr Scott Project located in Wilkesboro, North Carolina. This project encompasses various facilities including the Visitor Assistance Center & Environmental Education Center, twelve recreation areas, approximately 40 miles of trails, shoreline areas, and 1,475 surface acres of reservoir. The goal of this contract is to ensure the effective operation and maintenance of these facilities and associated resources.

Work Details

The Contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary management, personnel, materials, supplies, and consumables required for the following tasks: - Maintenance and repair services for the Visitor Assistance Center & Environmental Education Center; - Upkeep of twelve recreation areas; - Maintenance of approximately 40 miles of trails; - Management of shoreline areas; - Oversight of visitor center security and fire systems; - Operational support for forestry and wildlife lands; - Maintenance of Government-owned vehicles, vessels, and equipment.

Period of Performance

The contract is anticipated to begin on or around 5 November 2025.
