Background The Rockwood School District, a nationally recognized educational institution serving nearly 19,000 students across multiple schools in western St. Louis and northern Jefferson counties, is seeking proposals for real estate broker services. The District aims to establish a professional services contract for as-needed real estate services to support its mission of providing quality education and facilities for its community. Work Details The selected real estate broker or firm will provide the following services: - Locate properties for purchase - Perform market analysis - Provide opinions regarding properties being bought and sold - Create marketing materials for listed properties - Coordinate real estate appraisals - Facilitate transaction closings - Handle customary activities associated with real estate transactions. Consultation with District staff regarding marketing strategies and presentations at Board meetings may also be required. Period of Performance The contract is anticipated to commence on September 1, 2026, and continue through August 31, 2029. Place of Performance Services will be performed within the geographic boundaries of the Rockwood School District in Missouri. Bidder Requirements Bidders must be licensed and in good standing with the State of Missouri as well as Jefferson County and St. Louis County. They should have an excellent reputation in the local real estate community and experience working with school districts or public agencies within the last five years. Proposals must include evidence of qualifications, a summary work plan, compensation structure including fees and commissions, five references from previous clients (preferably governmental entities), and a Certificate of Good Standing.
