Background The City of Farmington is seeking to award contracts to multiple professional service firms through this RFQP (Request for Qualifications Proposals) #26-167302. The goal is to engage engineering, architectural, and related professional service firms that can demonstrate their ability to provide a variety of services on an as-needed basis. The funding for these projects may come from various sources including City, State, NMDOT, Federal, or specialty funds. Work Details The services required under this contract may include but are not limited to: engineering, architectural, landscaping, civil, structural, electrical, instrumentation and controls. Specific tasks may involve: - Parks and recreation design - Pedestrian/bicycle facilities design - Water/wastewater infrastructure design and rehabilitation - Streets design and rehabilitation - Stormwater management design and rehabilitation - Right-of-way (ROW) management - Hydrologic/hydraulic analysis - Field investigations - Surveying - Earthmoving activities - Geotechnical investigations/testing - Electrical/mechanical engineering studies/design and analysis - Permitting processes - Environmental studies including NERC/FERC compliance and Indian/Cultural affairs considerations. Additional services may include land acquisition support, hazard design/management strategies, NACE/corrosion inspections, drainage assessments, and archeological reporting. The City reserves the right to utilize the selected firm for bid phase support and construction/project management depending on approval and funding availability. Period of Performance The contract will be effective from the date of award until one year later with the possibility of automatic renewal for three additional consecutive one-year periods subject to appropriation of funds by the City Council. Place of Performance The services will be performed within the geographic boundaries of the City of Farmington and potentially surrounding areas as determined by project needs. Bidder Requirements Offerors must demonstrate qualifications in accordance with New Mexico State Statutes 1978 Chapter 13 regarding public purchases. Proposals must include evidence of experience in similar projects. Offerors must also comply with specific licensing requirements such as a New Mexico Landscape Architecture license if applicable. The use of subcontracts is permitted but must be disclosed in proposals. Offerors must not be debarred or suspended under Federal Executive Order 12549.
