Background The State of Rhode Island is issuing this solicitation for the MPA 414 Open Enrollment to provide septic tank and drain services. The goal of this contract is to ensure the availability of essential services related to septic systems, which are critical for public health and environmental protection. Work Details The contractor will provide a range of septic tank and drain services, including but not limited to: - Drain cleaning - Water jetting - Pump truck service (for manholes and ejector pits) - Vacuum trucks - Video pipe inspections - Septic pumping - Grease trap cleaning. Additionally, the contract includes the design and/or installation of septic systems. Period of Performance The contract period will commence on May 1, 2026, and will continue until July 31, 2028. There is potential for renewal for up to two additional 12-month periods based on vendor performance and availability of funds. Place of Performance Services will be performed throughout the State of Rhode Island. Bidder Requirements Vendors must register in Ocean State Procures™ to submit proposals. They are required to maintain a valid certificate of registration issued by the Rhode Island Contractors’ Registration Board throughout the contract term. Vendors must also comply with insurance requirements including liability coverage of $1 million per occurrence and workers' compensation coverage.
