Background The Michigan Department of Technology, Management and Budget, through its State Facilities Administration Design & Construction Division, is issuing a solicitation for the replacement of exterior doors at the Ionia Correctional Facility. The project aims to enhance security and functionality by replacing worn and damaged entry door systems. Work Details The contract involves the replacement of 10 entry door storefront systems located at housing units 1-5 within the Ionia Correctional Facility. The existing doors are reported to be heavily worn and salt damaged. The new exterior doors will include electrified hardware and will require some minor alarm routing work.
