The goal of this solicitation is to establish a short-term agreement to provide necessary in-house mobile X-ray services for the inmate population, ensuring timely medical imaging and care. Work Details The contractor will provide mobile radiology services including medical X-ray imaging and ultrasound procedures for the inmate population at FCI Bastrop. Services will include: - Performing an estimated average of 5 scans per visit, with a total of 260 scans expected over one year. - Conducting ultrasound services averaging 2 scans per month, totaling 24 scans annually. - Providing readings, interpretations, diagnoses, and clinical recommendations in reports submitted to the Health Services department within seven days post-service. - Ensuring all equipment and supplies are provided by the contractor, except for contrast media which will be supplied by the institution. - Adhering to standards set by the Joint Commission and American Correctional Association. - Maintaining confidentiality of inmate records as per Privacy Act regulations. Period of Performance The contract is intended for an initial period of up to 120 workdays from the date of award, with potential extensions up to a maximum of 240 workdays if necessary. Place of Performance Services will be performed on-site at the Health Services Department of FCI Bastrop, located at 1341 Highway 95 North, Bastrop, TX 78602.
