Background The State of Delaware, Office of Management and Budget (OMB) is seeking professional service firms for the design and preparation of specifications, bid documents, and contract administration for Statewide Minor Capital Projects. This initiative aims to engage multiple firms that OMB can assign to various minor capital projects, including new construction, renovations, repairs, and improvements. The selection of specific projects will be at OMB's discretion, with no guarantees of assignment for any firm. Work Details Firms must provide qualifications for the following professional services: Architectural, Structural, Civil, Geotechnical, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Interior Design. Each firm must have at least one employee with a current State of Delaware professional license in their respective discipline. Successful firms will sign an AIA B101-2017 contract and may be assigned projects by OMB. Additional services may be defined as needed. Construction administration will be overseen by OMB. Upon project assignment, firms will submit an AIA G802-2017 Amendment outlining the specific scope of work. Period of Performance The contract is set for Fiscal Year 2027 with options to renew annually through Fiscal Year 2029. Place of Performance The work must be performed within a one-hour drive from Wilmington, Dover, or Georgetown, DE. Bidder Requirements Firms must demonstrate experience with Public Works contracts and familiarity with local requirements. They must also have a branch office within the specified geographic area. Each firm must submit proposals via the Bonfire Portal and provide proof of insurance coverage as specified in the solicitation.
