The goal of this contract is to provide high-quality and cost-effective healthcare options for retirees aged 65 and over. Work Details The selected vendor will provide Medicare Advantage plans and prescription drug services to approximately 183 retirees and their spouses who are eligible for the plan. The services include: - Administration of Medicare Advantage plans. - Inclusion of prescription drug coverage. - Management of retiree enrollment and transitions from traditional group plans to Medicare plans. - Compliance with all guidelines set forth in the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). - Provision of detailed information regarding the types and costs of amenities available for the products offered. - Financial ability to support the services provided, including warranties and scope of coverage if selected. Period of Performance The contract will have an initial term of one year starting from January 1, 2027, with four additional one-year renewal options available at the discretion of Hall County. Place of Performance The services will be performed in Hall County, Georgia. Bidder Requirements Bidders must be licensed and insured in the State of Georgia. They must not have been debarred by any Federal, State, or Local authority or involved in legal suits for negligence or misconduct. Bidders are required to submit two hard copies of their technical qualifications and a separate sealed envelope containing their cost proposal. Additionally, they must provide a Certificate of Insurance listing Hall County as an additional insured.
