Background The National Interagency Fire Center (NIFC) is issuing this solicitation for the replacement of Building 415, known as the Duane Graves facility. Work Details The contractor will be responsible for the construction of a new administrative facility, which includes tasks such as site preparation, foundation work, structural framing, roofing, installation of electrical and plumbing systems, interior finishes, and landscaping. Specific requirements include adherence to federal guidelines for historical preservation and safety protocols. The contractor must also provide a quality control and safety plan within 10 days after contract award. All work must comply with applicable state laws regarding fire prevention during declared fire danger seasons. Period of Performance The contract performance period is from August 3, 2026, to August 3, 2028. The contractor is required to begin work within 10 calendar days after receiving the notice to proceed and complete all work within 730 calendar days. Place of Performance The construction projects will be performed at the National Interagency Fire Center located at 3833 S Development Ave, Boise, ID 83705.
