Background Hall County, Georgia, a municipal entity of the State of Georgia, is soliciting bid responses from qualified Contractors to provide all aspects of resurfacing, paving, and full depth reclamation throughout the County on an as-needed basis. The County seeks to award multiple vendors for future Task Orders for specific projects. Work Details The contract includes annual resurfacing of various County roads and any miscellaneous paving projects that may arise. Contractors will be required to install asphalt pavement and any required striping as outlined in future Task Order specifications. Specific tasks include: - Preparing all roads on the Task Order. - Patching work including removing defective material, disposing of waste, delivering asphalt, and installing new hot mix asphalt. - Traffic control measures including road closure signs, barricades, detour signs, flagging, and work zone signs compliant with the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD). - Scheduling and coordinating resurfacing work with the Hall County Project Manager. - Compliance with State of Georgia Department of Transportation standards for design and construction. - Installation of temporary shoulders as needed to ensure elevation differences are minimized. Period of Performance The initial term is one (1) year with four (4) additional renewal options available at the County's discretion. Place of Performance Services will be performed throughout Hall County, Georgia. Bidder Requirements Bidders must be licensed, insured, and bonded in the State of Georgia. They must have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in similar services. Bidders must provide evidence of compliance with professional liability insurance coverage requirements and submit various mandatory documents including a completed Bid Response Form, W-9 Form, E-Verify Affidavit, Ethics Affidavit, and proof of business licenses.
