Background The Oregon Department of Corrections (ODOC) is issuing this Invitation to Bid (ITB) for Grease Trap Cleaning and Service at the Two Rivers Correctional Institution located in Umatilla, Oregon. The purpose of this solicitation is to establish a Price Agreement with qualified contractors to provide necessary services and supplies for ODOC correctional facilities. The agency aims to ensure proper maintenance and functionality of grease traps within its facilities, thereby supporting its mission of maintaining safe and secure correctional environments. Work Details The contractor will be responsible for providing grease trap cleaning and service at Two Rivers Correctional Institution. This includes: - Regular cleaning of grease traps as per the specifications outlined in the ITB. - Ensuring compliance with all local regulations regarding waste disposal. - Providing all necessary equipment and materials for the cleaning process. - Documenting services performed and providing reports to ODOC as required. - Responding to emergency service requests as needed. Period of Performance The initial term of the Price Agreement will be two (2) years from the date of award, with potential extensions up to a maximum total term of ten (10) years, subject to mutual agreement. Place of Performance Services will be performed at the Two Rivers Correctional Institution located at 82911 Beach Access Road, Umatilla, Oregon 97882. Bidder Requirements Bidders must be established manufacturers or their authorized dealers. They are required to provide proof of an unexpired Pay Equity Compliance Certificate if the contract value is $500,000 or more and they employ 50 or more full-time employees. Additionally, bidders must comply with all applicable tax laws in Oregon and provide insurance certificates including General Commercial Liability, Auto Liability, and Workers' Compensation coverage.
