Background The Statewide Procurement Division (SPD), a division of the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts (CPA), is seeking sealed responses for the procurement of shirts and polos. A significant customer for these items is the Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ). The goal of this contract is to provide quality apparel that meets specific requirements outlined in the solicitation. Work Details The contract involves providing tactical shirts and polos, specifically the CornerStone CS410 model. The specifications include: 1) 100% 6.6 oz Polyester, Snag-Proof; 2) Available sizes: S, M, L, XL, 2XL, 3XL, and 4XL; 3) Color must be Light Grey (Pantone COOL GRAY 6C); 4) Tagless label; 5) Flat Knit Collar with a 3-Button Placket; 6) Three mic clips; 7) Raglan sleeves; 8) Dual pen pockets on the left sleeve; 9) Side vents; and 10) Drop tail design to prevent untucking. Measurements for sizing must allow for a tolerance of +/- 1/8 inch. The contractor must ensure that all products are new and in first-class condition upon delivery. Period of Performance The initial term of the contract will commence on the effective date specified in the Notice of Award and will automatically expire on July 31, 2027. There are options for four renewal periods extending through July 31, 2030. Place of Performance The primary delivery location is Dayton, TX 77535. Deliveries may also be required at various TDCJ facilities across Texas. Bidder Requirements Respondents must comply with specific insurance requirements including a minimum coverage of $500,000 for Commercial General Liability. Additionally, all required insurance policies must be issued by companies authorized to do business in Texas and meet specified financial strength ratings. Respondents must also submit a Mandatory Price Sheet and provide proof of compliance with all specifications outlined in the solicitation.
