Background The Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) requires an expansion of its current monitoring system at the Northeast Field Office located at Naval Station Newport, RI. The existing system does not adequately cover the stairwell areas, which are accessible to NCIS employees, contractors, and visitors. The goal of this contract is to install a closed-circuit television (CCTV) video monitoring system to enhance security and monitoring capabilities in these areas. Work Details The Contractor shall install a CCTV video monitoring system that includes: - Two (2) cameras for monitoring the second-floor hallway and stairwell. - One (1) monitor for live viewing. - Two (2) beacons for alerting personnel. - Two (2) wall activation switches. The Contractor is responsible for providing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and expertise necessary for installation, testing, training, and ongoing support. Specific tasks include: 1. Installation of one camera outside Room 200 and one on the stairwell landing. 2. Installation of beacons and activation switches in designated locations. 3. Installation of a monitor within Room 200. 4. Provision of low voltage cabling required for system operation. 5. Development of a tailored design plan and Bill of Materials (BOM). 6.
