Background The University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV), through the Nevada System of Higher Education (NSHE), is seeking proposals for Bar Examination Preparation Programs and Services for its William S. Boyd School of Law. This initiative is in response to the transition from the traditional Multistate Bar Examination (MBE) to the new Nevada Comprehensive Licensing Examination (NCLE), which includes the Foundational Law Exam (FLE). The goal is to provide comprehensive support for approximately 130-150 students graduating annually, with a focus on aligning services with Nevada-specific exam requirements. Work Details The contract will encompass an integrated continuum of services including: 1) In-school academic support and instructional integration; 2) Structured in-school study resources and preparation tools; 3) Final-semester and post-graduation bar preparation programming. The services are divided into three lots: - Lot 1 focuses on the Nevada Foundational Law Exam, - Lot 2 on Bar Preparation Support, and - Lot 3 on Nevada Performance Test-Specific Intensive Support. Each lot includes specific requirements such as providing faculty-facing integration of bar preparation into the curriculum, structured study tools, access to commercial bar preparation courses, and alignment with Nevada-specific exam content. Period of Performance The initial term of the contract will be one year, with up to four additional one-year renewal terms, totaling a maximum duration of five years. The estimated start date for the contract is October 1, 2026. Place of Performance The services will be performed at UNLV's William S. Boyd School of Law located in Las Vegas, Nevada. Bidder Requirements Proposers must demonstrate experience in providing bar examination preparation services to public or higher education institutions. They should also provide a minimum of three client references from similar institutions. Additionally, proposals must comply with all applicable federal and state regulations including OSHA, EPA, ADA, HIPAA, FERPA, NCAA, and GLBA provisions.
