City of Pocatello Zoning Code Rewrite

CITY OF POCATELLOREQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP)FOR TITLE 17 ZONING REGULATIONS CODE REWRITE Section I. Introduction The City of Pocatello is seeking proposals from qualified firms to rewrite the City's Zoning Code (Title 17 of the City Code of Pocatello, ID), and amend references within related chapters as necessary. The current zoning code was adopted in 2008 and has undergone subsequent amendments as necessary and on an as-needed basis. In 2021, the City of Pocatello adopted its long-range plan, Comprehensive Plan 2040, to identify the City's priority goals as well as strategies to achieve those goals. As such, the Zoning Code needs a substantial update to align with City's adopted long-range plan goals. The City of Pocatello is a municipal corporation located in Southeast, Idaho. The City is issuing this RFP and anticipates selecting a firm that has extensive experience working in a local government setting establishing a CIP. Only the firms responding to the RFP will be considered. This solicitation is being conducted in accordance with the provisions of Idaho Code Title 67, Chapter 28 (Purchasing by Political Subdivisions) and the City of Pocatello Purchasing Policies. Those provisions are hereby incorporated by reference into this RFP. All contracts must be strictly awarded in accordance with the requirements of the RFP. Section 3, disadvantaged business enterprises, minority owned businesses, and women owned businesses are especially encouraged to apply. If it becomes necessary to revise any part of this RFP or otherwise provide additional information, an addendum will be issued to all prospective Respondents who received copies of the original request.
