Site Visit

Offerors are highly encouraged to attend a site visit to inspect the current condition of the four (4) aircraft and the worksite on the AMC Museum ramp. Location: Attendees shall meet at the main entrance of the Air Mobility Command (AMC) Museum, Dover AFB, DE. c. RSVP Requirement: All interested attendees must RSVP via email to 2Lt Jonathan Goodwin (jonathan.goodwin@us.af.mil) & 2Lt Travis Ambrose (travis.ambrose.1@us.af.mil) no later than 4 May 2026 at 1:00 PM EDT. The email must include the full name of each attendee to coordinate base access. Attendees who do not RSVP may be denied entry. d. Background The Air Mobility Command (AMC) Museum at Dover Air Force Base (AFB), DE is seeking a contractor to provide corrosion control, surface preparation, and historically accurate exterior painting services for four static display artifact aircraft: the KC-10A, C-133B, C-124A, and C-45G. The goal of this contract is to preserve the historical integrity of these aircraft while ensuring they are maintained in a condition that reflects their significance. Work Details The contractor will be responsible for the following tasks: 1. Prepare and paint the C-133 aircraft to meet Air Force Heritage Program standards. 2. Prepare and paint the C-124 aircraft to meet Air Force Heritage Program standards. 3. Prepare and paint the C-45 aircraft to meet Air Force Heritage Program standards. 4. Prepare and paint the KC-10 aircraft to meet Air Force Heritage Program standards. All work must adhere to specific color, markings, and insignia requirements as outlined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). The contractor must also ensure that the applied paint does not flake, peel, or chalk for a minimum of one year from contract completion. Period of Performance The period of performance for this contract is from June 1, 2026, to September 30, 2026. Place of Performance The work will be performed at Dover Air Force Base (AFB), DE.
