Background The Air Mobility Command (AMC) Museum at Dover Air Force Base (AFB), DE is seeking a contractor to provide corrosion control, surface preparation, and historically accurate exterior painting services for four static display artifact aircraft: the KC-10A, C-133B, C-124A, and C-45G. The goal of this contract is to preserve the historical integrity of these aircraft while ensuring they are maintained in a condition that reflects their significance. Work Details The contractor will be responsible for the following tasks: 1. Prepare and paint the C-133 aircraft to meet Air Force Heritage Program standards. 2. Prepare and paint the C-124 aircraft to meet Air Force Heritage Program standards. 3. Prepare and paint the C-45 aircraft to meet Air Force Heritage Program standards. 4. Prepare and paint the KC-10 aircraft to meet Air Force Heritage Program standards. All work must adhere to specific color, markings, and insignia requirements as outlined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). The contractor must also ensure that the applied paint does not flake, peel, or chalk for a minimum of one year from contract completion. Period of Performance The period of performance for this contract is from June 1, 2026, to September 30, 2026. Place of Performance The work will be performed at Dover Air Force Base (AFB), DE.
